New year's Eve.

Well it's new year's eve, and I have nothing to do (because I don't give a damn about fireworks) so I started writing on my blog. Let me first tell you about the holiday I had so far. On saturday the 19th I went with my mother, father, brother & sister to Brussels. We stayed there untill the 21th (my mother's birthday). In Brussels I basicly saw the 'highlights' including the RSCA Anderlecht soccer-stadium. Then on the the 25th of december it was christmas. Here's a list with the stuff I got: a distortion pedal (for my guitar), a Hilfiger-coat, a blu-ray disc of 'The Hangover', the Guinnes Book of Records 2010, 2 'Jack&Jones' jeans, a pair of 'MacBeth' shoes (which have to come all the way from America because they're not sold in Europe) and some eau de toilettes. All this stuff is really great so for the first time in my life I experienced a Christmas which was basicly perfect. In a minute the new year's eve cabaret on tv starts, so I'm finishing now. Thanks for reading.

Me, Sydney Schelvis

Hi, my name is Sydney, I'm 14 years old and I live in Dorst, a puny village near Breda (the Netherlands). I'm in the 3th grade of TTO, which is a bilingual study which you can follow on the Nassau in Breda. I like playing my guitar and playing soccer. I don't like reading but I do like watching movies (especially comedies such as The Hangover). I have, like an ordinary Dutch family, a mother (51), a father (51), a brother (18) and a sister (11). The weather here in Holland sucks, so I hate going outside in this time of the year, except for when it has frozen like -10°C, because then you can ice skate. I'm looking forward to christmas because I get my presents and I'm free from school, it's the most wonderfull time of the year (except for the summer because then you actually can go swimming/going out/playing soccer/.../.../...)
